Determine the Youtube Channer Audience

Written By Blues-Tech on Sunday, November 17, 2019 | 6:52 PM

Google's new rules for YouTubers where as the owner of the YouTube channel are required to determine to make a content filter to determine the audience of the videos that we make on YouTube. Whether the video is intended for children, children and adolescents or teens and adults only. Next I share how to determine the audience in our YouTube channel. Set your channel as Made for Children or not Simplify your workflow by selecting channel settings. If you choose not to specify audience settings at the channel level, you will be required to identify every video on your channel Made for Children. This setting will affect existing videos and future videos. The settings for each video override the channel settings. This action will also limit certain features on your channel. If you are not sure whether your video is Made for Children or not, read the Help Center article. 1. Login to studio.youtube.com. 2. On the left menu, click Settings. 3. Click Channel. 4. Click the Advanced Settings tab. 5. In the Audience section, select: 1. "Yes, set this channel as Made for Children. I always upload content that is Made for Children. " 2. "Set this channel as Not Made for Children. I have never uploaded content Made for Children. " 3. "I want to review these settings for each video." 6. Click Save Uploading videos as Made for Children 1. Upload your video as usual. 2. On the Details tab, scroll to the Audience section. 3. Choose: • "Yes, this content is Made for Children." • "No, this content is not Made for Children." 4. Click Next to continue the process of uploading your content. After you upload your video, the video will be labeled "Made for Children - defined by you" in your video list. Assign existing videos as Made for Children You may find that YouTube has designated a number of videos as "Made for Children". Since you have never set your video or channel as Made for Children or not, you can now do it yourself: 1. Login to studio.youtube.com. 2. From the left menu, select Video. 3. Check the box next to the video you want to edit. Note: You can select all of your videos by checking the box next to "Videos" at the top of the upload list. 4. Select Edit Audience "Yes, this content is Made for Children". 5. Select UPDATE VIDEO. Set a new live stream as Made for Children If you are not sure whether your content is Made for Children or not, read this Help Center article. 1. Prepare your live stream as usual. 2. After you have filled in the basic information and selected privacy settings, scroll to the Audience section. 3. Choose: • "Yes, this content is Made for Children." • "No, this content is not Made for Children." 4. Click Next to continue setting up your live stream. Set the live stream archive as Made for Children You might find that YouTube has set a number of live stream archives as "Made for Children". Because you have never set a live stream that is archived as Made for Children or not, you can now do it yourself: 1. Login to studio.youtube.com. 2. From the left menu, select Video. 3. Click the Live tab. 4. Check the box next to the video you want to edit. Note: You can select all of your videos by checking the box next to "Videos" at the top of the upload list. 5. Select Edit Audience "Yes, this content is Made for Children" if the content is indeed for children. Or, select "No, this content is not Created for Children" if the content is not for children. 6. Select UPDATE VIDEO.

Check out the other SEO Books - SEO For Dummies, SEO for Growth, SEO Book, SEO Like I'm 5 etc., - they're great, they're good, but they don't include powerful step-by-step worksheets, links to online videos, and the free SEO Toolbook with hundreds of free tools for search engine optimization 2017.

Book Thank You for Being Late: An Optimist's Guide to Thriving in the Age of Accelerations

Written By Blues-Tech on Sunday, December 4, 2016 | 9:29 AM

DescriptionReviewOne of The Wall Street Journal's "10 Books to Read Now"One of the Most Anticipated Books of Fall 2016, Publishers Weekly"Thomas L. Friedman is a self-confessed 'explanatory journalist'―whose goal is to be a 'translator from English to English.' And he is extremely good at it . . . it is hard to think of any other journalist who has explained as many complicated subjects to so many people . . . Now he has written his most ambitious book―part personal odyssey, part commonsense manifesto . . . As a guide for perplexed Westerners, this book is very hard to beat . . . Thank You for Being Late is a master class in explaining . . . As usual with Friedman, it is all backed up by pages of serious reporting from around the world . . . After your session with Dr. Friedman, you have a much better idea of the forces that are upending your world, how they work together―and what people, companies and governments can do to prosper. You do have a coherent narrative―an honest, cohesive explanation for why the world is the way it is, without miracle cures or scapegoats. And that is why everybody should hope this book does very well indeed."―John Micklethwait, The New York Times Book Review"[An] ambitious book . . . In a country torn by a divisive election, technological change and globalization, reconstructing social ties so that people feel respected and welcomed is more important than ever . . . Rather than build walls, [healthy communities] face their problems and solve them. In [Friedman's] telling, this is the way to make America great." ―Laura Vanderkam, The Wall Street Journal"The globe-trotting New York Times columnist’s most famous book was about the world being flat. This one is all about the world being fast . . . His main piece of advice for individuals, corporations, and countries is clear: Take a deep breath and adapt. This world isn’t going to wait for you." ―Fortune"[Friedman's] latest engrossingly descriptive analysis of epic trends and their consequences . . . Friedman offers tonic suggestions for fostering 'moral innovation' and a commitment to the common good in this detailed and clarion inquiry, which, like washing dirty windows, allows us to see far more clearly what we’ve been looking at all along . . . his latest must-read." ―Booklist (starred review)"The three-time Pulitzer winner puts his familiar methodology―extensive travel, thorough reporting, interviews with the high-placed movers and shakers, conversations with the lowly moved and shaken―to especially good use here . . . He prescribes nothing less than a redesign of our workplaces, politics, geopolitics, ethics, and communities . . . Required reading for a generation that's 'going to be asked to dance in a hurricane.'" ―Kirkus Reviews (starred review)Product DescriptionA field guide to the twenty-first century, written by one of its most celebrated observersWe all sense it―something big is going on. You feel it in your workplace. You feel it when you talk to your kids. You can’t miss it when you read the newspapers or watch the news. Our lives are being transformed in so many realms all at once―and it is dizzying. In Thank You for Being Late, a work unlike anything he has attempted before, Thomas L. Friedman exposes the tectonic movements that are reshaping the world today and explains how to get the most out of them and cushion their worst impacts. You will never look at the world the same way again after you read this book: how you understand the news, the work you do, the education your kids need, the investments your employer has to make, and the moral and geopolitical choices our country has to navigate will all be refashioned by Friedman’s original analysis.Friedman begins by taking us into his own way of looking at the world―how he writes a column. After a quick tutorial, he proceeds to write what could only be called a giant column about the twenty-first century. His thesis: to understand the twenty-first century, you need to understand that the planet’s three largest forces―Moore’s law (technology), the Market (globalization), and Mother Nature (climate change and biodiversity loss)―are accelerating all at once. These accelerations are transforming five key realms: the workplace, politics, geopolitics, ethics, and community. Why is this happening? As Friedman shows, the exponential increase in computing power defined by Moore’s law has a lot to do with it. The year 2007 was a major inflection point: the release of the iPhone, together with advances in silicon chips, software, storage, sensors, and networking, created a new technology platform. Friedman calls this platform “the supernova”―for it is an extraordinary release of energy that is reshaping everything from how we hail a taxi to the fate of nations to our most intimate relationships. It is creating vast new opportunities for individuals and small groups to save the world―or to destroy it.Thank You for Being Late is a work of contemporary history that serves as a field manual for how to write and think about this era of accelerations. It’s also an argument for “being late”―for pausing to appreciate this amazing historical epoch we’re passing through and to reflect on its possibilities and dangers. To amplify this point, Friedman revisits his Minnesota hometown in his moving concluding chapters; there, he explores how communities can create a “topsoil of trust” to anchor their increasingly diverse and digital populations. With his trademark vitality, wit, and optimism, Friedman shows that we can overcome the multiple stresses of an age of accelerations―if we slow down, if we dare to be late and use the time to reimagine work, politics, and community. Thank You for Being Late is Friedman’s most ambitious book―and an essential guide to the present and the future.About the AuthorThomas L. Friedman is a three-time recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for his work with The New York Times and the author of six bestselling books, including The World Is Flat.

Link building for effective SEO

Written By Blues-Tech on Saturday, October 20, 2012 | 11:32 PM

By: James Day
When you begin the task of acquiring quality and relevant backlinks to your website there are many factors that can increase or decrease your search engine rankings. This article outlines the difference between good and bad backlinks.

A quality backlink pointing to your site should be in the same category and relevant in content to your website. The page where your link is located should be indexed by Google and the page should also have a Google page rank. The webpage where your link is located should also contain no more than 30 other out-going links to other websites. Link pages with more than 30 out-going links are less relevant to the search engines. Having your link posted on this type of webpage can affect your search engine rankings in a negative way. Other excellent techniques of acquiring backlinks are directory submissions, posting articles, blogs and forums.

For directory submissions select the proper directory category and take a look at how many other websites are contained in the category where your link would be posted, if you can manage to get on the first or second page of the listings, this is a quality backlink. Also look at the Google page rank of the landing page for your link. If the page has a Google page rank this is also a quality backlink.

Stay within your category, relevant content is very important to the search engines. Write an article preferably relevant in content to your website and submit the article to high quality article directories. Blogs are an excellent way to get quality one-way backlinks, Blog sites also receive tons of traffic, which in turn give your site more exposure. Posting your link on forum pages is also an efficient method of aquiring backlinks instantly.

Backlinks to avoid would be a zero page ranked webpage, especially if the home page has a zero page rank. Links posted within framed webpages which will also steal your traffic. Especially avoid link farms, webpages which contain more than 100 unrelated outgoing links, This type of link page is frowned upon by many major search engines. Avoid Webpages with mirror sites containing the exact same content with a different URL, also pages that utilize redirects and URL cloaking. Never post your link on a webpage that contains a "no follow" or "no index" robots meta tag within the source code. Dynamic websites with question marks in the URL should be avoided because they are not always indexed by the search engines.

Avoid posting your link on a page that opens very slow or contains mostly ads and flash banners. Try not to aquire or purchase great numbers of backlinks in a short period of time, backlinks should be accumulated gradually. Also avoid webpages and directories that list their results in alphabetical order, as their database increases your link could be moved to a less relevant page with less pagerank. Quality backlinks are one of the most important factors involved in the process of acheiving high search engine ranking.

Get Keyword Density Just Right

Written By Blues-Tech on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 | 1:56 PM

SEO Optimization -Get Keyword Density Just Right
By: Aaron Brooks
It has always been about being noticed. People dress well or do something bizarre in order to be noticed or make a statement. To get ahead in life or business one needs to be at the top, first in line. Now more often than not, the World Wide Web to functions along the same principles.

With tough competition between websites, articles, and e-commerce sites what makes one more successful than others is the position a site gets on search engines. The higher the ranking the larger the number of hits or traffic to the site. To achieve a higher position websites use the strategy of SEO optimization and content is written such that it is keyword dense.

It is not as simple as using words repeatedly you need to know which keywords are relevant to your website and pages. Once you have a master list ensure that :

•    Match keyword tag with content. Ensure that the keyword meta tag has around 900 characters or 25 words.
•    Ensure that the keyword density in between 3-10% . And, avoid using the same word more than once in a sentence. Check keyword validators to determine the exact density percentage.

•    Try and maximize use in the top half of the page. Many search engine spiders do not go beyond 25-50%.
•    Be smart and spell your keywords with variations and also include plurals.
Go one step ahead and make use of a keyword density checker. This is an automated system that will comb through your web content and highlight words used in higher density. The system will enable you to perfect your pages and provide what search engines or spiders want.
A Keyword Density Cloud see http://www.webconfs.com/keyword-density-checker.php can be used effectively to crawl selected URLs, analyze word density, and remove common stop words. The tool can be added to your website and fulfil a vital role in SEO optimization.

It is all about knowing how to gather your audience or customers and the keyword density checker or cloud can help you through several stumbling blocks. The golden rules of SEO are: keyword density, keyword frequency, keyword prominence, and keyword proximity.

The basic rule of thumb is to know "what are the keywords your potential customers are likely to use." Keywords must not be random but relevant to your line of business. The trick is to strike a balance neither too many nor too little. Too many can get your site banned and too little means you get lower rankings and your wonderful site goes unnoticed.

So, while sticking to your marketing plan and focus take a moment to take care of web content and its many nuances. Make content meaningful and relevant, find out the most important words that will be used to find what your site has to offer (put yourself in the user's shoes). And construct content using all the golden rules and keys mentioned above.
If you tread the right path success in the World Wide Web will be yours.

Keyword Selection For SEO

Written By Blues-Tech on Saturday, October 13, 2012 | 10:59 PM

Keyword Selection For Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

By Simplifying The WEB

Choosing your primary keywords may be one of the most difficult parts of good SEO. It is also, however, one of the most important. When you begin optimizing your website for search engines, you will need to choose one primary keyword or keyword phrase, and four to six secondary keywords.

These keywords are going to be essential later on. You won't just use them for a single page on your website. Instead, they should feature prominently on each page of your website, in any website-related blogs, in any website-related newsletters, and in any website-related press releases. SEO goes beyond just a website.

With that in mind, look for keywords that will stand the test of time. Avoid keywords that are too general; you want targeted keywords for targeted traffic. But don't swerve to the opposite extreme; a keyword is no good if it's something so specific that no one would ever search for it.

Your secondary keywords can be a little more flexible than your primary keyword or keyword phrase. Pick the words people are most likely to use when searching for your product or information. You should ideally have between four and six secondary keywords, but if necessary, pick as many as ten. Don't go above ten, as too many keywords end up diluting the importance of any of your keywords.

Look for a blend of general and specific secondary keywords. Better yet, make one or two of them keyphrases, such as "handcrafted knit scarves" that blend the specifics of the three words together with the generalness of each individual word.

Once you have your keywords, don't limit them to just your website. Use your primary keyword phrase every time you link to your website, in blogs, in newsletters, and in RSS feeds. Don't overlook relevant forum signatures! The right keywords, used in the right way, can be invaluable.
